The Vision

When people ask me what makes my artworks recognizable, the awnser is always the same: the chains.

I am LANTHAR. Swiss artist. And since 2021 – since the very first moment I started making art – chains have been my language. My signature. My hallmark.

I don’t just see with my eyes, I see with feeling, with intuition, with something deeper inside. That is where my art begins, and chains became the element that could hold all of that. The color, the energy, the emotion. The rawness and the beauty at once.

I paint with them. I build with them. I think through them. Chains are not a finishing touch – they are the spine of everything I create.

Because a chain carries everything I want to say. It represents human connection -like our DNA, linking us to each other across time and memory, and at the same moment, it holds the paradox of being human: the limitations, the illusions – and the transformation that happens when we turn something heavy into something meaningful.

My art is not about perfect understanding. It is about reflection. About connection. About being present. A moment where you stop, breathe and reconnect – with yourself, with life, with something real.

When we look with love, we begin to see the true essence in everything. In ourselves, in others in the world around us. This essence is always there, even when life feels loud or confusing.

When we see with our heart, we don’t just look at the world. We feel it. We understand it. And we become a part of it.

I create to remind people of something simple: to see through love.
